Im neuen Rothmaler-Atlasband: Gef��pflanzen sind mehr als 3000 Habituszeichnungen von Wildpflanzen der Flora Deutschlands enthalten. Jede Pflanze ist wissenschaftlich exakt und ma�stabsgetreu mit mehreren charakteristischen Details dargestellt. Pfeile weisen auf wichtige Unterscheidungsmerkmale zwischen �hnlichen Arten hin. Vegetative Merkmale, auch solche, die im Textband nicht beschrieben werden, erleichtern die Bestimmung im bl�tenlosen Zustand. Die genauen Wuchsformdarstellungen illustrieren die M�glichkeiten der vegetativen Vermehrung und Ausbreitung. Angaben zur Gr��e, Lebensform, Bl�tezeit und zum Naturschutz erg�nzen die Abbildungen.

F�r diese stark bearbeitete 12. Auflage wurden mehr als 210 Pflanzenarten v�llig neu gezeichnet und weitere 60 bereits bestehende Zeichnungen erg�nzt oder korrigiert. Alle Legendentexte wurden kritisch durchgesehen und aktualisiert.

Die weitreichenden �nderungen im modernen System der Gef��pflanzen erforderten eine neue Anordnung der Abbildungen und viele Umbenennungen, wie sie bereits f�r die 20. Auflage des Grundbandes (2011) umgesetzt wurden. Bisher g�ltige Namen der Familien, Gattungen und Arten wurden als Synonyme ins Register aufgenommen. Grundband und Atlasband des Rothmaler, „Exkursionsflora von Deutschland“ entsprechen einander nun in der Benennung und Reihenfolge der Sippen.

Der Atlasband kann weiterhin selbst�ndig zur Erkennung in Deutschland wild vorkommender Arten genutzt werden, erm�glicht aber auch die Kontrolle von Bestimmungen mit dem Grundband und bietet rasche Hilfe bei der Unterscheidung �hnlicher Arten.

Before this work by David Kelly I was not so much aware of what it meant thinking critically. The content is superb, clear, informative, and absorbing. Trust me; this is must for every want-to-be serious thinking man. My aim in buying this book was to get some more experience and knowledge on analyzing and distilling arguments we are so much confronted in ever day life like in newspapers, discussions on TV, or talk with people who seem to pretend him or her to be very clever that they believe they could trick everyone into thinking what they do believe is right or wrong.
The most useful chapter was therefore the Fallacies chapter which discusses extensively the most relevant fallacies we make when engaged in reasoning in one kind or another. I repeat it; to acquire some form of training in critically thinking you may consider to take the suggestions at heart and work patiently through he exercises at the end of each section and chapter.
